Groups for Neuro Rehab in Ashford

Group therapy in accessible programs

Find better therapy outcomes and get closer to your goals with accessible weekly group programs and dedicated care for Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Stroke, Concussion and Neurological Conditions.

Better therapy, together

One of the most difficult challenges when you’ve suffered a brain injury or are dealing with a neurological condition is the separation and loneliness that often comes with these conditions. We know exactly how hard it can be to push through those barriers and find the support you need to achieve your goals. Our regular, accessible, targeted group therapy programs introduce that important social element into your recovery, allowing you to become more involved in the community around our clinic.

Our group programs are all evidence-based, professionally run, and both sensitive and supportive of your unique needs. Ask our team when you can get involved.

LVST Loud for Life Group Therapy

We run Loud for Life voice therapy to treat people with Parkinson’s Disease, run by a clinician trained in the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LVST) method. LSVT is considered the gold standard in voice treatment with clear improvements in loudness, variation in pitch, articulation, swallowing and even facial expressions for up to 2 years post treatment. Read more about LVST here.

Balance Group Therapy

Balance is a 6-week program directed for people with ABI, stroke or neurological conditions to join together with people facing similar challenges, and work on their physical well-being. It’s aimed at people who have difficulty balancing upright, or have had a fall in the past six months.

Memory Group Therapy

Remembering vital details to live your ideal life, or even the previous conversations you’ve had with a loved one is incredibly important for your well-being. We run a group memory therapy program that lasts 9 weeks and is designed to help adults with ABI, stroke and neurological conditions who suffer from mild to moderate memory problems.

Better Conversations Group Therapy

We run a 10-week group program for adults with ABI, stroke or neurological conditions to improve their ability to initiate, follow, participate and enjoy conversations with the people in their life. It’s intended for adults who have difficulty starting a conversation, tracking what others are saying, struggling to think of things to talk about, or participating in group discussions.
